Happy Birthday Eko 🎈🎈🎈

I can't believe that our sweet crazy boy is 5 years old today, where has all that time gone?

Eko came to us a year earlier than originally planned, but that was ok as I really wanted a puppy from his mum Juno, we knew her well and she'd had all the relevant KC/BVA health testing done to ensure any puppies born weren't carrying any unpleasant genetic surprises

I had hoped Eko would be born a blue roan or even a black like his mum, but nature being nature had other ideas and Eko formally known as Wash plus all his siblings were born the most beautiful colour of gold

I was able to watch Eko grow and explore the world from the moment he was born until I got to meet him in person, then eventually bring him home to join our little family

Eko has taught me so much, we've had a few ups and downs along the way, as well as the odd setback on our journey to Eko becoming Boris's successor as my assistance dog

But Eko's such a character that I wouldn't change him for the world, if he never makes it as an assistance dog then I'm fine with that as he's such a cracking little dog as he is
