Hello Everypawdy
I'm not too sure what to write as it's my first ever blog post, it's been some time since Badger Boo first introduced me, but you may have seen a bit about me on the Hoomums blog.
Badger Boo has now handed the reins over to me to update his blog, don't worry there's nothing wrong with him, now that he's approaching old age, he's 13 you know, he rarely has any Daft Adventures anymore.
Nowadays he likes to stay at home sleeping on his heat pad, pottering up and down the road and occasionally coming over the common for a nice long walk if the weather is warm enough, so that's why he's asked me to take over updating his blog
Let me introduce myself properly
My name is Boris and I'm a 7 month old Working Cocker Spaniel.
This is what I look like
Quite a stunner I think you'll agree.
OK so I don't have Badger Boo's pretty colouring, but I have the softest shiniest black coat ever.
Apparently I have a massive intellect but zero common sense, one day mummy hopes to train me well enough to become her Assistance Dog.
At the moment Miss Lucy is my teacher at The Company of Animals and is helping mummy to teach me all sorts of neat tricks, because it exercises my brain and I just love doing things to please mummy.
This is me learning "I'm Shy" I picked this up fairly quickly, mummy taught me how to do this using a clicker and some treats, it sure is a fun way to learn stuff and it makes it easy to remember too.
This is me at one of my training sessions over in Churtsey, Miss Lucy very kindly made this video for mummy as she'd left here phone camera thingy in the car.

Massive intellect but zero common sense is exactly what my peeps accuses me of Boris...something about bonkers spaniels. Anyway welcome. Have a terrific Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly,
We look forward to getting to know you more too Boris. Lady says the same about Hailey . . . we think she just says that about a dog that is smarter than her!
ReplyDeleteMy older sister Katie is a lot like your brother. She takes her daily walks but they are fairly short and very slow. Bailie is the wild child at 1 yr old, and I'm the sensible dog at 8. It is my blog, but I do share sometimes with my siblings. My little sis Bailie does do most of the mischief for my posts, though.
ReplyDeleteAsh the Dog says - I always enjoy meeting fellow doggies and you look a rather cool canine. Looking forward to reading about all your adventures........ #animaltales
