Earlier this week I had a trip to the Groomers. I likes to look smart as you know, but they always insist on giving me a bath, which is so mean! It makes me smell all horrid and clean which is so embarrasing when I meets other pups out and about.
My mission in the days after the Groomers is to regain my dignity and smell, plus it's so annoying when mummy keeps sniffing my bonce telling me how gorgeous I am, I already know that!
Mission accomplished within 48 hours **does happy dance**
Chest deep in the mud and sand by the canal and feeling more like my normal self again.
Yep I'm a Stinker :o)
Now let's see who else is smiling today :o)
Well, Badger...you might need to hide out in the greenhouse again, if Mummy decided to pop you into the bath! You bad puppy, lol xxx
ReplyDelete**muffled giggles behind paws** I just can't help myself Miss Michele baths make me stink real bad xxx
DeleteBadger Boo! That was like a world record! Poor Mom! :)
ReplyDeleteIt was the quickest one I've managed Mr Max **puffs out chest in pride**
DeleteOur Lady doesn't give us baths. She says she use too take her previous dogs to the groomers and her Loki could get dirty and smelly within an hour if left. He hated it too. We are lucky we didn't have to bath! Have a good one, Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteWow you sure is lucky!!!
DeleteBack when mummy used to strip my coat I hardly ever had a bath unless I rolled in Eau de Fox. Now I has to go to the groomers cos mummy has bad hands they insists it's part of the service, so I has to endure like a good pup, it's so not fair **sulky face**
Hilarious, NOT! I hope she washes you good and soapy and gets the hair dryer out :-)
ReplyDeleteMiss Lesley that's a mean thing to say **sob**
DeleteI'm going to come to your house and teach Brin and Zozi to roll in the foxes poopy now **grins**
xxxxx
Well done Badger Boo now not only did you have a mud bath we guess you smell good too. Have a fabulous Friday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
I have to agree on the clean stink of a bath, Badger. It is just not 'right'. Glad you were able to find some delicous sand and mud almost immediately to cover the smell of shampoo. I love you Smile It's Friday idea! I will have to think about that for next Friday!

ReplyDeleteThe woman got the links on the bottom of our post by going to Outbrain. Give them a Google.
The sophisticated smell of Canal Number 5!
ReplyDeleteBRILLIANT!
DeleteCome and sniff my head now, Mummy!
ReplyDeleteI appear to have come back from the groomers with a leg hair do!
ReplyDeleteThat put a smile on my face! I'm afraid I'm going to take your Mum's side. I love a good smelling dog! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't understand why humans think us dogs like to smell like flowers...?
ReplyDeleteHi Y'all,
ReplyDeleteHopin' by to say hi!
You are mean to your humans...getting all dirty like that! I don't do stuff like that. Course my Human uses an allergy shampoo on me and it doesn't make me smell like a flower.
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
I don't know what the point in my perm was when they chopped all my beautiful hair off afterwards...
ReplyDeleteBOL!! Great job, who says we have to smell good ALL the time??? Following from the blog hop!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job Badger Boo! Holly dog likes to roll in fox poo straight after a bath...
ReplyDeleteWell done! I'm always keen to roll in something that smells nice after I've had a bath.
